The Kitchen's COVID-19 Safety Guidelines, Updated January 3, 2022
All Kitchen staff, artists, and audience members are required to adhere to following COVID-19 guidelines in order to ensure the safety of our community:
— Show proof of vaccination upon entry. All persons, 12 years of age and older must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination in order to be onsite. This means that 14 days have passed since your final dose of an FDA or WHO approved vaccine.
On December 14, 2021, New York City mandated that all people aged 5 years and older must have one dose of vaccination to enter public indoor spaces. All attendees over the age of 5 years old must show proof of vaccination.
Beginning January 18, 2022, The Kitchen will require proof of a Covid booster shot for all staff, artists, and patrons who are eligible to receive it. Anyone who is not yet eligible for a booster shot will be able to continue to enter but must receive the booster shot within two weeks of becoming eligible.
— All guests must wear a mask that covers your mouth AND nose at all times while in the building. This includes all children two years of age and older. Bandanas and neck gaiters are not considered acceptable. Masks are available for free for anyone who needs one.
— Maintain 6 feet of physical distance from others when possible
— Please stay home if you are feeling sick, if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days, or if you have had close contact in the past 14 days with anyone while they had COVID-19. If you would like to refund your ticket or process it as a tax-deductible donation to The Kitchen, please email us at email@example.com.
The Kitchen staff are required to adhere to these polices as well. Please note that the regulations and recommended protocols continue to evolve, and The Kitchen reserves the right to revise these measures and requirements as needed, in order to comply with federal and state regulations, as well as to ensure the utmost safety of all visitors and staff onsite. If you have any questions or concerns, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
