The Kitchen is pleased to host this premiere screening and discussion with Art21 of the newest film in their New York Close Up digital series. The film documents artist Raúl de Nieves and his recent commission for this year's Whitney Biennial. New York Close Up is an award-winning documentary series capturing the art and lives of emerging New York City artists.
The morning premiere will be followed by a conversation between the artist and the 2017 Whitney Biennial co-curator Mia Locks, moderated by Art21's Executive Director and Chief Curator Tina Kukielski.
