On April 29–30, 1980, Memories, No Reflections: Music for Micro-computers and Electronics, a concert by Ampersand (Nicolas Collins and Ron Kuivila), took place at The Kitchen. Presented as part of The Kitchen's Contemporary Music Series, the concert featured two compositions: Kuivila's New Music Mistakes and Collins' Room to Let.
